May 2025- MGM Transformers recently returned from a dynamic week at the American Clean Power (ACP) Conference in Phoenix, AZ—one of the nation’s premier events focused on scaling renewable energy across the U.S.

On the show floor, MGM Transformers showcased a padmount transformer which has been widely accepted in renewable energy and battery storage applications. Designed for durability, flexibility, and ease of installation, our padmount units drew strong interest from project developers and EPCs seeking reliable solutions with fast lead times. 

A highlight of the week was CEO Doug Banty’s participation in a discussion with other industry leaders on the topic of how renewables is supporting data center power needs. Touching on the increasing demand for infrastructure to support data center deployment and the critical role transformers play in supporting these power-intensive facilities.
