MGM Transformer gaining new customers

An aggressive strategy was developed to convert the transformer business at a high technology company that designs and manufactures electrical test  and fuel supply systems for the standby power generation industry.

MGM Transformer Engineering worked hard to meet cost and margin goals and presented the business to Bodine, a local distributor, in exchange for their HPS usage. The complexity of the target client’s specification stretched MGM Production capabilities in positive and expected ways. By relying heavily on the strength and value of MGM Engineering and clear, timely communication between all parties, MGM Transformer was able to deliver a solution that met specification, margin and most importantly, cost goals allowing room for distribution participation.

With the first transformer being delivered, and with a successful customer review of product quality, our strategy execution will continue with additional competitor’s conversions of Olsun and Hammond product conversions at Bodine.
